06.08.2015 | No Delay In Light Railway Red Line Eastern Branch Tender

The Administrative Court of Tel Aviv quashed an application for a temporary injunction. The application was filed by one of Israel’s major infrastructure companies in an effort to delay the bidding process in the tender to establish the eastern branch of one of the light rail’s central routes. The tender is valued at approximately NIS 3 billion.
Our firm represented one of the other bidders, who is also one of Israel’s largest infrastructure companies, and who submitted a joint bid with a Chinese company.

The Court’s decision to quash the application for a temporary injunction allowed for the tender committee to open the bids and continue preparations for the light railway red line eastern branch as planned.
