14.11.2018 | The police has frozen tens of millions of shekels to Leviev’s LLD diamond company

Lev Leviev, the billionaire and owner of LLD, appealed to the Tel Aviv Magistrate’s Court Wednesday to release tens of millions of shekels frozen in its accounts in an investigation into suspicions of smuggling diamonds worth 300 million NIS from Russia to Israel between the years 2018-2010.
In the framework of the application submitted by LLD through Attorney Sharon Kohane, she seeks “emergency relief” for the release of the accounts, because the continuation of the freeze means: “a complete cessation of the applicant’s financial activity and severe and disproportionate damage to her property and occupation, (Suppliers). “The request shows that the money was seized in four accounts: two at the Israel Diamond Exchange branch and two at Union Bank.
