Adv. Helit Simchoni, head of our firm’s Labour Laws department, participated in an online advanced study for lawyers on behalf of the Midrasha – National Lawyers’ Academy on the subject of workers unionization.

The advanced study debated the subject of national Labour law, and Adv. Simchoni gave a lecture on the subject of the Do’s and Don’ts of workers initial unionization at the work place. 

Now that the Covid crisis has subsided, and particularly in face of its financial ramifications, the working assumption is that there will be an increase in the unionization of workers. 

This trend obliges employers to be involved in legal developments in the field, and to be aware of their rights and particularly their obligations as employers, if and when their employees decide to unionize. 

Adv. Simchoni is an expert in collective work disputes, and in general accompanies and advises employers during initial employee unionization proceedings, during the negotiations stage and in formulating collective agreements.
