About Related practices

Adv. Amir Amar, one of the firm’s founding partners and Head of the Firm, participated in the annual Dun’s100 Leading Law Firms Forum, where senior figures in the legal sector discussed the key trends of the past year, including the integration of AI into lawyers’ daily work, developments in the mergers landscape, the judicial reform promoted by the government, and the current state of the legal system.

Among his remarks, Adv. Amar addressed the accelerating wave of mergers in the legal sector, stating:

“The complex economic reality and prevailing uncertainty affect everyone, but it is important to distinguish between a move driven by necessity and one driven by strength.

In my view, a genuine merger is one that strengthens core practice areas and deepens expertise – not one that merely seeks to generate headlines. Size in itself is not an objective; the real question is whether the move serves a long-term strategic vision.

Particularly in times of uncertainty, clients seek stability and the ability to be guided with confidence. Leading firms do not merely respond to the market – they shape it. Expansion should therefore be undertaken from a position of strategic understanding and a commitment to remaining a meaningful force in the industry in the years ahead.”
