Tomer Altman

Tomer Altman is a partner and head of Capital Markets.

Tomer’s practice focuses on capital markets, corporate law, mergers & acquisition, banking & finance, Hi-Tech & venture capital investments and debt reconstruction. In over twenty years of work Tomer amassed extensive experience and knowledge in the corporate field, and has demonstrated unique and innovative ideas and ways to bring transactions to successful conclusion.  Tomer’s broad knowledge of the law, his creativity and profound understanding of the business side make him widely known and appreciated in his areas of expertise.

Tomer represents regularly foreign companies as well as foreign banks that invest in Israel as well as Israeli companies and investors operating overseas, all in collaboration with leading law firms around the world.

Tomer executed and accompanied several complicated and innovative deals that took place is Israel. Among others, in recent years Tomer led the purchase of the control stake in a leading Israeli constructions company, which involved major debt  reconstruction and first in kind public issuance of capital and debt (after obtaining the approval of the Israeli Securities Authority and the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange Ltd.);  representing banks, insurance companies and other financial corporations in the biggest debt reconstructions that took place in Israel in an amount of over NIS 15 Billion; Sale of a publicly traded bank in an unique and innovative transaction that is been taught in law faculties.

Tomer launched his legal career at Gissin & Co. where after 5 years Tomer became a  partner and head of the commercial department, a position he successfully filled for more than 10 years. After about 4 years as partner at Steinmetz Haring Gurman & Co. Tomer has joined our firm as a partner and heads the Capital Markets Department.

Tomer graduated from Tel Aviv University (LL.B. and BA Economics) in 1999.

Admitted to the Israeli Bar in 2000.

Speaks Hebrew and English.
