The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) has held a conference to launch the new 2021 Arbitration Rules. This is the first conference ever held on behalf of the ICC in Hebrew, and was attended by dozens of lawyers and legal advisors from leading firms and companies in the economy.

The event was attended by a number of experts in the field: Adv. Gidon Even-Or – a partner in our firm’s Litigation Department, serving as Israel’s representative in the ICC YAF (YAF – Young Arbitrators Forum); Adv. Samantha Nataf – a member of the ICC Arbitration Board; Adv. Itai Apter – Commissioner for Civil (International) Affairs in the Ministry of Justice; Adv. Shai Sharvit – Partner at Gornitzky & Co.; Adv. Baruch Baigel – Partner and Head of International Arbitration Department at ASSERSON; Adv. Avishai Azriel – Deputy Counsel ICC Court; Eli Shulman, Investment Advisor in American Validity Finance Claims Fund; Reuven Wolf – Senior Legal Adviser at Elbit Systems; and Dr. Tamar Meshel – Arbitration Researcher and Lecturer at the University of Alberta in Canada.

Adv. Gidon Even-Or, a partner in our Commercial Litigation Department and a representative of the ICC YAF  organization in Israel: “Israel is on its way to become a “Hub” for international arbitration proceedings, and there is no reason not to advance to the forefront in Switzerland and London.”
