About Related practices

In the lawsuit the plaintiff claimed that he is entitled to a commission from Maccabi Haifa at the rate of one percent from the wage which he claims to have saved the club in the player transfer transaction to another team. The lawsuit, as aforesaid, was rejected under the arbitral award while the arbitrator, Adv. Hanoch Keinan, criticized the plaintiff’s conduct in the case, and under the circumstances decided that as he is an attorney acting as a players’ agent, he should be expected to not ignore the required, binding instructions.

The club was represented in the arbitration by Adv. Ofer Ben–Assa from our firm’s Sport Department which is rated Tier 1 in its field by Israeli ranking guides.
