Lighting Chains may operate during the lockdown and sell vital products; the petition was filed by Advs. Ram Jeanne and Roey Dotan from our firm’s Commercial Litigation Department
About Related practices

‘Lighting Chains’ chain petitioned to the Supreme Court through Advs. Ram Jeanne and Roey Dotan from our firm’s Commercial Litigation Department requesting to operate its branches during the lockdown since it sells vital products.

In the hearing held at the Supreme Court on Sunday (December 27, 2020), the State informed in a precedential manner that the chain stores will be able to remain open to the public during the lockdown and sell vital products.

The State further clarified in the hearing that these instructions would apply to every business that constitutes “a store for selling vital products or a business for providing vital services”.
