Rabbi Yossi Erblich, founder and chairman of the “LEMAANCHEM” non-profit organization, that provides voluntary medical counsel and direction, received the Presidential Award for Volunteering – which was awarded this year to 12 individuals and organizations acting towards sharing and solidarity between people.

Rabbi Yossi Erblich, age 45, from Bnei Berak, married and father of six, has for over two decades been providing voluntary medical advice, and several years ago, founded the ”LEMAANCHEM” non-profit organization that operates for thousands of patients.  The medical advice service is managed by Dr. Benny Davidson, former CEO of Assaf Harofe Hospital, and president of the organization of Prof. Josef Peres, former CEO of the Schneider Hospital.

Mr. Erblich said: “I accept this award with appreciation and gratitude as the representative of the “Reserve Doctors” – 180 department managers, specialist doctors with hearts of gold, who give their time and their skills to the patents, without any return, as part of the organization’s activities”.

This was the 48th year of granting the award to volunteers and organizations, selected to receive recognition by the society in Israel and the State for their voluntary works. The award was initiated by the Presidential Institution together with the National Volunteering Council, with the objective of cultivating and encouraging voluntary activities and to express appreciation of the volunteers.

Since the founding of the ”LEMAANCHEM” non-profit organization, Adv. Yoav Caspi, head of the firm’s Corporate Law Department has volunteered their accompaniment.
