בעבר היה דניאל שותף במחלקה המסחרית של משרדים מובילים ואף היה שותף בקרן הון-סיכון 'Israel Seed Partners', עם כ- 300 מיליון דולר בניהולו. כמו-כן, שימש כמנכ"ל חברת אגרוטק.
