We are proud to share another legal achievement: After two years of proceedings before the Tel Aviv District Compensation and Betterment Levy Appeals Committee, the committee has accepted the appeal filed by Netivei Ayalon, represented by our firm, against a betterment levy demand issued by the Herzliya Local Planning and Building Committee.

In a detailed and reasoned decision, the committee accepted our argument that the Herzliya Local Committee had no authority to impose a betterment levy of over NIS 3.5 million for the installation of communication infrastructure within a road corridor managed by Netivei Ayalon. Accordingly, the committee ordered the cancellation of the payment demand in its entirety.

Netivei Ayalon was represented by Adv. Yacov Cohen, Head of our Planning & Zoning Department, and Adv. Nir Shafran, Partner in the department.
