Adv. Helit Simchony, partner and head of the Labour Laws department at our firm, participated in a Labour Laws convention on behalf of the Midrasha – National Academy for Lawyers, Israeli Bar Association. 

Helit participated in a session on the subject of the non-competition section in local and international employment agreements, which discussed the question of whether there still is any validity to these conditions. Among the things she said, she referred to the considerations that have occurred in recent years on the labour market, as a result of which, in certain circumstances. validity will be given to the employee’s non-competition obligation and confidentiality of trade secrets.
