Adv. Omer Gadish, now Head of the Real Estate and Urban Renewal Department at our firm, was appointed in 2013 as receiver on behalf of Manif Financial Services for the rights held by Mekorot Shlita Ltd., Ofer Ben Yehuda and Shay Tirosh in a property located at 76 Mazeh Street, Tel Aviv.
In his role, Adv. Gadish sought to sell the rooftop rights, associated building rights, and full title to the garden apartment and basement unit of the building.
Despite the building’s prime location and potential, the sale was far from simple. “The construction was complicated – some of it was unauthorised, third parties had taken possession of the basement, and apartment purchasers had filed claims against the developers,” he noted.
Ultimately, in 2015, Adv. Gadish successfully sold the rights to a development company, Pinat Rehov, for NIS 6 million, spread over 20 instalments.
