Following a long period of anticipation – and just weeks before Amendment 13 to the Israeli Privacy Protection Law comes into effect – the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority has published a draft position paper for public comment regarding the appointment of a Data Protection Officer (DPO) in accordance with the new legal requirements.
