We assist clients implement Amendment 13 to the Privacy Protection Law and prepare for the Privacy Protection Authority’s expanded enforcement powers; build compliance programmes and data-governance frameworks; conduct privacy impact assessments (DPIAs) and draft privacy policies; assist with database registration and management; and guide organizations through the Authority’s sectoral and individual supervision proceedings. We provide outsourced Data Protection Officer (DPO) services, advise on cross-border data transfers (including GDPR alignment), and counsel on the adoption of Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs), including anonymization, pseudonymization, encryption, data minimization and privacy-by-design approaches. We also handle emerging privacy questions arising from artificial intelligence, cloud and SaaS. Alongside ongoing counselling, we are experienced in defending privacy class actions.
