The Central District Planning and Building Committee has approved a major urban renewal plan for the Shalom Tzalach complex in the Amishav neighbourhood of Petah Tikva. As part of the plan, eight dilapidated residential buildings (3–4 storeys, comprising 213 housing units), an old synagogue, public shelters and parking areas will be demolished. In their place, five new residential towers will be built, containing 736 modern housing units, commercial space, public institutions, and a new synagogue – spanning nearly 80,000 square metres.
The project is being promoted by Hagag Esther Avraham Ltd. (jointly owned by Esther Avraham Amishav Project Ltd. and Hajaj Urban Renewal Ltd.), and is legally supported by Advs. Nadav Avramovich, Eli Eshel, Tal Zigdon, and Gal Sarusi-Brom from our Real Estate & Urban Renewal Department, together with the law firm Menahem Avraham & Co.
