אייל הינו בעל רקע טכנולוגי נרחב אשר משמש אותו בייעוץ משפטי הנוגע לטכנולוגיה. הוא בעל ניסיון רב שנים בייעוץ רגולטורי ומסחרי בנושאים טכנולוגיים, ובין השאר ליווה התקשרויות לפיתוח ולהטמעה של מערכות חומרה ותוכנה, מעבר לשימוש בשירותי ענן, ושימוש בנתוני עתק (big data) למגוון מטרות מסחריות ומחקריות.
אייל מייעץ באופן קבוע ללקוחות מובילים בתחומם בתחומי הטכנולוגיה והתקשורת בדגש על הגנת הפרטיות, אבטחת מידע, סייבר, תקשורת, קניין רוחני, תחרות והיבטים טכנולוגים נוספים. הוא מייצג את לקוחות המשרד בפני רשות הגנת הפרטיות, ומשתתף בצוותי ההגנה של תביעות ייצוגיות מורכבות בתחומי הפרטיות, הצרכנות, והתחרות. עו"ד שגיא מייעץ באופן שוטף לגבי משפט ישראלי לחברות זרות ומנוסה בטיפול דו-לשוני בתיקי ליטיגציה של חברות זרות התובעות או נתבעות בישראל.
