On 22 January 2026, a draft of the National Cyber Protection Bill, 5786-2026 (the “Memorandum” or the “Bill”), was published for public consultation. The purpose of the proposed legislation is to establish a comprehensive and cross-sector regulatory framework for cyber protection in Israel and to impose new obligations on a wide range of organisations across the economy.
