Our Law & Tech Department is experienced in data-security and cyber-protection counselling, advising some of the largest Israeli and international organizations – including cloud-service providers, cellular and Internet communications groups, technology giants, credit-card issuers, insurers, pension and provident funds, banks, infrastructure companies, airlines, automotive and transport companies, government ministries, and start-ups.
We guide organizations through the adoption, implementation and ongoing control of the Information Security Regulations, including periodic audits; deliver the security training the regulations require; assist with reporting security incidents to the Authority; and manage ‘excess data’ processes. We draft data-processing agreements (DPAs) and the further documentation the regulations require, and advise on supply-chain security and vendor-risk management. On the cyber side we support readiness for Israel’s National Cyber Defence Law and sector-specific regulation, advise on licensing of encryption and cyber means and on cyber-export controls, and support organizations across the legal dimensions of a cyber incident — from immediate response, through investigation, to regulatory reporting and dealings with enforcement authorities.
